The programme is suitable if you do not meet the English language or academic requirements to start these courses immediately.

Entry requirements

To study at United Sixth Form you will need the equivalent of at least five GCSEs at grade C or above, including English and Maths. Individual subjects may have higher entry requirements of a grade B, please see the flyers for all subjects offered.

If your country does not have a formal examination structure for your final year at high school, you will need to supply us with formal end of year reports for each of your subjects. You will also need to arrange a Statement of Comparability from Naric. This statement gives details of how your qualifications compare to UK qualifications.

If English is not your first language then you will also need a recent IELTS Certificate (with a minimum IELTS level of 5.5 - 6.0) to begin the A Level and Btec courses.
