Additional Qualifications
The Extended Project Qualification allows each student to embark on a self-motivated project. A project topic may be directly related to a student's main study programme, but should look beyond the specification.
Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) are available to students through links with the Russell Group Universities. They provide online learning opportunities from leading universities & cultural institutions which will complement their understanding of their A Level course.
Study Information
Teaching
International students are fully integrated into all classes, enrichment activities and 6th Form life overall.
Our highly qualified specialist subject teachers are dedicated to your personal progress and academic achievement. Our class sizes are small so that you can be sure you will get the support you need.
You will be part of a tutor group with an assigned tutor who will meet with your group each day and also provide regular one-to-one mentoring sessions. Your tutor is there to support you with all of your academic and social needs.
If English is not your first language, ESOL will be timetabled for you as a support subject. These classes will improve your use of the English language throughout your time at 6th Form and will increase your level of English ready for university, employment or an apprenticeship.
Timetable
Registration for the day starts at 08:30am and the last lesson finishes at 3:35 pm

Superb support is provided throughout your time at United Sixth Form, with a variety of trips scheduled for you. In year 12 you undertake work experience for one week and this can be arranged in the UK or abroad.
